Go CC/365 combines the features of Office 365 (non-enterprise) with the OS33 Portal Desktop, Cloud File Manager, and External IT FlexSupport.

This gives you a complete, supported, high integrity cloud computing solution that can grow as quickly as your company grows.  If you turn out to be the next Google, or Microsoft, you'll already have the very cloud computing platform you need.  If you stay the same size that you are today, you'll have a highly productive, easier-to-manage IT solution that will all but eliminate future capital expenses.  (Of course, we know you're going to grow.)

What makes Go CC/365 different from Microsoft Office 365?

Web-based Microsoft 365, a fine software addition, was not created to be the answer for companies that want to take advantage of all the cloud has to offer.  It does not give you a simple way to provision and manage user rights and permissions.  There is no end-user support, or support for non Microsoft applications or features.   It doesn't change in any way appreciable your present IT status.

Portal Desktop and its Cloud File Manager

Your OS33 Portal Desktop has a built-in feature called the Cloud File Manager. It's a place to house your file system allowing you to access documents from anywhere.  The Cloud File Manager supports both the Windows-based file system and SharePoint, in one place.  When you open a file, you can choose between running Office Web Apps or use a local application.

In contrast, Office 365 only offers SharePoint, and requires that you convert your entire file system over.

Unifying software and support beyond Microsoft

Every day, great new Web-based applications are born. Software-as-a-service is now as common in the workplace as casual Fridays and Summer Hours.  In a world where Windows and Web apps need to co-exist, it only makes sense to build your company on an IT platform that makes that happen.

Take something as important as syncing your your Blackberry.  That's not something Microsoft will do for you if you subscribe to Office 365.

Here is a look into the future. Somebody, without a unifying cloud platform, will be making the following call. In fact, they might be making it at this very moment:

Technician:  "Microsoft. How can I help you?"

Caller:  "Yes, I'm trying to use Microsoft Word and Salesforce.com at the same time, to put together a PowerPoint presentation on my iPad, and collaborate with someone in my Chicago office."

Technician:  "?!"

With OS33, all of this is not only possible, but going on, with little guidance, every day.  Should you ever need technical assistance, a first-tier Help Desk is but a few clicks and keystrokes away.  Help Desk ticketing is also built into the OS33 Portal Desktop.
